With just under ten collections under her belt in the US and in Canada, Arefeh Mansouri is more than an expert in the bridal field. Her garments are sold exclusively in high end boutiques nationwide and in Canada and have been center stage at Miami fashion week as well. Arefeh offers her expertise to print, TV and radio media constantly regarding bridal tips and advice on proper fit and trends. Each one of her gowns is unique and regarded as wearable art.
Since childhood Arefeh has been designing dresses for friends and family. Her artistic painting expertise provided her with inspiration and ability to combined texture and color. Thursday, April 2, 2009, New York City: Supermodel Kate Moss along with Arcadia Group CEO Sir Philip Green hosted the grand-opening of TOPSHOP and TOPMANs long-awaited flagship retail clothing outlet in the trendy SoHo district in Manhattan. TOPSHOP is a British chain of clothing stores which operates over 300 stores in the UK and 100 outlets in growing international territories.
Kate Moss is TOPSHOPs most successful in-house designer. Moss spring collection will launch with the opening of the new NY store and feature Liberty prints and glam rock flourishes in its own first level boutique.
The 40,000 square foot TOPSHOP and TOPMAN is set over four floors and designed in the spirit of the famed Oxford Circus outlet. Among the products showcased are the Unique Collection and Topman Design Collection (as seen on London Fashion Week catwalks), the highly coveted Kate Moss collection, and additional designer collections. The in-store features include a DJ booth, a denim area, a vast shoe lounge, 32 change rooms and a VIP suite for celebrities. The store also offers its successful Topshop Style Advisor and Topman Stylist services.
TOPMAN, as the name implies, caters exclusively to mens fashion, and will be located on the lower ground of the TOPSHOP store, covering over 6000 square feet. TOPMAN helps break new musical acts and dresses the latest young bands. Along with other design collections, TOPMAN will soon feature Antony Prices collection, a designer who has dressed rock stars including David Bowie, Duran Duran and Bryan Ferry.
