International Cricket 2010 – Launch Video

July 142010

In the launch video, Twenty20 World Champions England take on finalists Australia in the short format of the game, and play Bangladesh in a Test match accompanied by commentary from David Lloyd. The gameplay video also showcases Action Cam, the innovative new on-field perspective that takes players right into the heart of the battle, whether batting or bowling.

David Lloyd, affectionately known as ‘Bumble’, is one of English cricket’s most loved personalities with over 70,000 followers on twitter who receive wide-ranging updates from pitch conditions to whether the broadcaster has secured a curry and a couple of pints at the end of a long day’s commentary. He has been uniquely involved at nearly all levels of the game, from Test player to England coach, umpire and Sky Sports commentator and is now making his debut behind the microphone for the first time in a Codemasters cricket game. He is joined in game by Shane Warne, Ian Bishop, and Jonathan Agnew to deliver the most authentic commentary in a cricket game yet.

Officially licensed by the England and Wales Cricket Board and Cricket Australia to feature official players, stadia and kits and complete with local and online multiplayer, International Cricket 2010 is in stores this Friday for the PS3 and Xbox 360. I play Brian Lara …
I play Brian Lara 2007…The animations on 2007 are WAY better than this…The run ups, the bowling actions, even the batsman running are way better in 2007…
    I think I’ll give this one a miss…
I admit the only thing in 2007 that gets on my nerves, is when we have Agnew and Gower commentary…And Gower starts going on and on…Same things every match…Gets very old…

If I where Codies Id just give up the licence for sure, I mean Im British and I know its sort of popular here, and I can honestly say I carnt see any gamers playing it really. Imagine online it will be like a cemetery. Love Codies but why not just concentrate on Real sports like maybee snagging the Wimbldon licence and making a kick tennis game. Not until F1 is done though, lol
