I agreed with a lot …
I agreed with a lot that they were saying, about the possibilities….but I don’t agree with the comment that this is a result of a ’socialistic’ attitude “What you have belongs to me”. I think it came from an attitude that says “I’m an American and I can have whatever I want”. Everyone should stop arguing and scale back. BIG TIME. Everybody start growing victory gardens like they did in WW2. Use heritage (heirloom) seeds so you can collect your own seeds.

I agree. A solar storm is inevitable… but when? We have no clue. Maybe next year is the Eight-Ball-Corner-Pocket shot that has a solar flare hit us dead-on and wipe out all our modern technology (anything with wires).
Or it could be a thousand years from now.
But, what I gather is… the best guess right now is that 2012 is the peak of the peak of solar activity over the past 400+ years.
Or is it already entering a quiet phase? We’ll know within 4 years.

Celente was talking about the illiteracy rate….The city of Detroit, a “major” city of 850,000 people has an illiteracy rate of 47%. Meaing nearly half the people that live there can not read and write. PATHETIC.

We’re waiting for …
We’re waiting for this solar period to pick up. It’s been very quiet the last year… with months of NO sun spots (very unusual). The next peak is expected in 2012.
Farmers are paid not to grow and other farm land is being used for the bullshit E85 corn growing. People will starve, but we’ll have gas for our trucks!
And when our economy collapses… what will be the motivation for farmers to supply cities? It won’t matter if the land is unharmed: No money, no food.

Most of Kansas is in feed and fuil corn. In Oklahoma they pay not to grow. California is stoping irragation so cities have water. Texas has had more rain. Alabama and georga have had drought for 5 or 6 years now. I guess it’s up to trhe north where they had more snow. Prices for food are already going up . Your right thou it is ciclical.
